Terms

Last updated 5 August 2026.

The Artventory is made by Algoryme. These are the terms it is offered under.

The trial, and what happens after it

A subscription starts with a 30-day free trial. Setting it up asks for a card, and nothing is charged during those 30 days. On day 31 the plan you chose begins: the card is charged monthly or yearly as you picked, and again each period until you cancel. Prices are shown excluding VAT, which is added at checkout according to where you are.

Cancelling, and money back

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing, which opens Stripe’s own screen. Cancel during the trial and you are never charged. Cancel later and the subscription runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and is not renewed; we do not refund part of a period you have used. If a charge was our mistake, tell us and we will return it.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a few days and your studio keeps working while it does. If it never succeeds the subscription ends and the workspace loses its paid features — nothing is deleted, and your export is still there whenever you come back.

Changing a price

We may change what a plan costs. If we do, you get at least 30 days’ notice by email before it applies to you, and cancelling before the new price starts costs nothing.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Stripe; The Artventory never sees or stores your card number. Sales you make to your own collectors are yours — The Artventory records them and produces your invoices and certificates, and takes no commission on them.

Your work stays yours

Everything you put into The Artventory — your photographs, your catalogue, your sales, your collectors — remains yours. We claim no licence over your images beyond what is needed to store them and show them back to you and the people you invite.

You can leave whenever you like

Full export of everything you hold is available from Settings, in CSV and JSON, without asking anyone. If you delete your workspace, the data goes with it.

What we ask of you

  • Only record collector details you are entitled to record, and honour the consent you were given — The Artventory stores when a newsletter opt-in was ticked precisely so that this is provable.
  • Do not use the product to break the law or someone else’s rights.
  • Keep your sign-in to yourself; invite people properly instead of sharing an account.

What we do not promise

We do not offer an uptime guarantee yet, and features may change while the product finds its shape. We do take backups, and we will give notice before anything that would lose data. The Artventory is not a valuation, legal or accounting service: a certificate it produces is a record of what you told it, and its authority comes from your signature, not from us.

Ending it

You can stop at any time. We may close an account that is being used abusively, and will say why and give you your data.
